Driving Lessons
Getting started
You should be 17 years of age to start to learn driving and must have a provisional license, valid, before you opt for driving lessons. Fill D1 form at post office and post it with a copy of your birth certificate or passport, along with a photograph, passport-sized. Online application would also be acceptable.
You can apply for your provisional license three months prior to you turning 17, and can book your driving lesson to be held on your birthday!
Lessons that are needed
Your instructor estimates how much time you need after you have taken the first lesson. The average stays at 45 hours out of which 22 hours are of practicing privately. In order to learn faster you can benefit from our driving practice tips and our two-hour lessons.
Tried, trusted & recommended
More students pass on their first attempt with LDS than through any other driving school nationally. This fact has been confirmed through a survey as well.
According to the LDS survey of customer satisfaction, more than 97% of our pupils say that they recommend us over other driving instructors. We provide you:
- highly qualified instructors
- new tuition car
- up to £2 per hour discount upon a booking of more than 11 hours
- one-to-one tuition without any pick-ups on route
- Welcome pack that includes insurance and breakdown discount covers
- LDS syllabus, driver record, and instructor code of conduct
